THE ULTIMATE POKEDEX
What is a pokedex?
A Pokedex is something you get in the game Pokemon, whenever you encounter a pokemon, it's data is automatically installed on the Pokedex. Here on the Ultimate Pokedex Website, we give you all the pokemon and all the pokemon info that you might need during your adventure. Different type of pokemon are released over and over the generations of the games. Click on one of the generations below to see what pokemon were released in that generation. Almost each game has a different generation. For example Pokemon X/Y is generation VI (the newest pokemon game yet) and Pokemon Black/White is generation V. This category contains of each pokemon in each generations stats, their meaning to their name, their moves and even more! If you scroll right through down you will see a lot of buttons that you can click them, you can click on one of them to visit the page that you would like to visit.
mega Evolutions
Generation VI introduced a bunch of new pokemon and also a bunch of new legendaries. Generation VI also introduces Mega Evolutions. These mega evolutions are made by giving your pokemon a stone that makes that pokemon evolve. However this can only be done in battle and outside battle it will change back to it's form, don't worry the item is unlimited, equip it on the pokemon and it will automatically evolve during battle. However only certain pokemon have Mega Evolutions. Click the Mega Evolutions Tab to see what pokemon have the Mega Evolution. For example a pokemon called Venusaur can now Mega Evolute into Mega Venusaur using an item called Venusaurite, it evolves during battle and takes one turn. This can only be done currently in Pokemon X/Y (Generation VI).
Normal Evolutions
Normal Evolutions mean that Pokemon Evolute through leveling up and are not the same principle as Mega Evolution (only introduced in Generation VI). For example Bulbasaur will evolve into Ivysaur at level 16.
